How does Duologi Finance work?

Used responsibly, a loan is a great way to spread the cost of your purchase. To make it easy, we've teamed up with Deko, whose technology lets you apply for and complete a loan application quickly, easily and informatively. 

Deko is a credit broker, not a lender. Deko's secure technology helps put you in touch with lenders whose finance options are best suited for you and your purchase. As a customer of Electric Life, your finance application will be with Duologi. 

Simply add the items you love to your basket. Once you are at the checkout select the finance option that suits you and choose Deko. The quick application form is simple and should take no more than a couple of minutes to complete and you will receive a decision instantly. 

Am I eligible?

Before you apply, please note that you will only be considered for finance if you:

• Are at least 18 years old
• Are in regular full or part time employment (minimum 1 hour per week or £10,000 income per annum), unless you are retired and receiving a private or company pension, or you are in the receipt of disability living allowance
• Are a permanent UK resident and have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
• Have a UK bank account capable of accepting Direct Debits
• Have a good credit history with no late payments, Debt Relief Orders, County Court Judgments or bankruptcies 

What payment plan options are available?

We offer a 6-,9- and 12-month 0% payment plan, with a minimum credit amount of £250 and a maximum of £15,000.

0% Finance over 12 months

• Total order value = £800
• 10% deposit = £80
• Total amount of credit = £720
• Duration = 12 months
• 12 monthly payments of = £60
• Interest rate (fixed) = 0%
• Interest charged = £0
• Total amount payable = £800

Paying with finance

It couldn't be easier to pay with finance, simply add the purchases* to your basket and select Deko at checkout. You'll then be taken to the application form, which  takes just a few minutes to complete.

Will I be accepted for finance?

This depends on many different factors. Duologi have a dedicated credit team that uses their bespoke credit engine to help them reach decisions. Duologi will perform a search with one or more Credit Reference Agencies to conduct their creditworthiness and affordability assessment to help them make their decision. This will appear on your credit file and will be visible to other lenders if you apply for credit with them in the future.

In some cases, your application will be referred for further assessment. You may be asked to provide some more information to help Duologi make their decision. If this does happen, you will be told whether your application has been accepted as soon as the decision is made.

What happens if I have been declined?

If your application was declined, Duologi may be unable to give you specific reasons why. Duologi uses information from your credit report, alongside your income and expenditure data to make a lending decision.
