The Stirling Eco City Rider fuses modern scooter styling with cutting edge electric technology – it is rooted in its petrol rival’s features, but eco friendly and with a healthy dollop of cool!

The City Rider has smooth but exciting power delivery thanks to a 1200w motor, equivalent to a 50cc motorbike but with 95nm of torque. This means from a licensing perspective it is the equivalent of a moped so can be used by a rider with:

• CBT learners licence
• Full bike licence
• Full car licence if issued before February 2001 

A 60v 20ah lithium-ion battery with up to 30 miles of range from 4-hour full charge through he 3-pin UK plug charger provided. The best bit? A full charge only costs around 30 pence so running costs are minimal.

The handlebars on the City Rider are riser style with a slight sweep back for a more upright and relaxed riding position that feels as good as it looks. It also has neat security features such as alarm, immobiliser, key start ignition and steering lock.

As a road legal bike, the M1 meets all standard regulations so is equipped with indicators, front and rear lights, mirrors and horn.
