Orbea Rise SL M20 420Wh Electric Mountain Bike - 2026

The Essence of trail. Find flow in every adventure. Rise SL´s 140mm of travel front and back gives a nimble ride on flowier trails.

Your best ride. That perfect trail. You feel connected to the dirt, pushing hard and in perfect control. These feelings are pure, and you live more brightly in these moments. Now, that experience just got better.

Less E, More Bike. Ride further, ride faster. Because when you are having this much fun, you won’t want to stop.

Perfect synergy. Your bike works with you to turn every trail, feature, and corner into pure joy. Low weight and natural assistance mean lightning reflexes and fun handling that connect you to the trail.

Rise is ready to reshape the lightweight e-bike market once again. Leaner and keener than ever, with more energy packed into every gram.

All about the ride. Rise connects you to the trail - Rise rewrites the rulebook on ebike handling, floating, popping, manualling, and slicing through the corners as it disappears into the distance.

The sweet spot. Stiff in the right places - Bikes can be too stiff, or too flexible. High performance bikes need the correct rigidity, in the correct places.

Lower saddles mean faster bikes - Long-travel droppers are the only way! Thanks to our Steep'N'Deep design, most Rise riders can fit a 230mm dropper.

Designed to handle - The asymmetric design allows us to tune torsional rigidity across all frame sizes. This is a big part of Rise´s intuitive handling.

More capable. Just as light as ever - Thanks the construction, asymmetric design, SBS battery and obsessive control of the details, Rise achieves these improvements without a weight increase.

Less E more bike means more natural assistance and longer rides - A ride this good is only possible when you consider power and range and together, right from the start. Everything is a balance.

Motor

New Rider Synergy. More ways to ride - Rider Synergy, (RS) is the heart of Rise. The most natural, elastic assistance and best in class battery range for the most epic adventures.

More fun more of the time - Rise´s next generation firmware and electronics makes it possible to configure the motor output up to 85Nm.

RS, ready for epic adventures - Configured for the most epic adventures with natural and elastic assistance delivered in the cadence range where your body is working best.

RS+. Tackle the toughest climbs - Optimum for technical trails, tricky climbs. or when you just want a bit more punch. 85Nm of assistance gives more assistance at lower cadences.

Don’t accept the limits - Less e more bike, means forgetting about range anxiety. The natural RS Gen2 assistance works with you to involve you in the ride, providing power where it is needed and conserving battery life elsewhere.

Battery

We are able to increase the capacity by 16% for the same weight. Our batteries are some of the lightest and slimmest examples out there, based on the latest generation 5.8Ah cells.

Packing more energy into a smaller space with less weight is key for lightweight e-bikes. Designing our own batteries lets us create unique solutions which integrate better with our frames, using frame space more intelligently, lowering centre of gravity and offering better performance.

420wh battery (1.95kg), for the lightest ride – Riders looking for the best handling and lightest Rise will chose the 420Wh and will use the new range extender for the longest weekend adventures.

630wh battery (2.9kg), for maximum range - Riders looking for the longest range can choose the 630Wh battery. Of course, since rider weight has a big effect on range, heavier riders can choose the 630Wh option.

210wh range extender (1.05kg) - Easy to add range for the most epic rides. Smaller than a water bottle and weighing just 1,05kg. (Available separately).

Geometry

Tuned for flow - Tuning how the suspension behaves under pedalling, what we call the anti-squat, gives great pedalling efficiency and makes it easier to find your flow on fast singletrack.

Fast trail geometry - Balanced geometry to put you in the perfect position to bring more flow to your adventures.
